Education is not personal care

Pages cannot determine whether a symptom is caused by a medicine, whether a drug is suitable, what dose to use, or whether to start, stop, combine or restart treatment. Use the current product monograph and instructions from your own prescriber and pharmacist.

Urgent and emergency help

For severe, rapidly worsening or life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or your local emergency service. For suspected poisoning or overdose, contact your regional poison centre. Do not wait for a website response.

Non-emergency questions

Contact the prescriber or pharmacist involved in your care for side effects, missed doses, pregnancy or breastfeeding questions, interactions, supply interruptions and changes in treatment. Health Canada’s MedEffect service accepts reports of suspected adverse reactions but does not replace medical care.[1]
