In brief

Key points

  • Current Canadian primary sources come first.
  • No payment can buy inclusion or ranking.
  • Volatile facts carry checked dates and refresh triggers.

Evidence hierarchy

We prioritize Health Canada records and product monographs for regulatory and product claims; official provincial or territorial records for public coverage; official plan documents for private coverage; and authoritative clinical sources where a Canadian primary source is unavailable. Manufacturer material is not treated as independent comparative evidence.

Page and claim boundaries

Ingredient, product, indication, access, price, coverage and clinical-safety questions remain distinct. A keyword variation does not justify a page. A page must have a separate entity, intent, evidence burden and patient use.

Updates and volatile facts

Regulatory status, monographs, price, stock, coverage and warnings can change. Pages show their editorial update date and sources show last-checked dates. Stable explanations are not silently converted into current availability claims.

Commercial separation

Affiliate commission, payout and status cannot determine inclusion, order, comparison conclusions or recommendations. Any future affiliate link must be disclosed near the link as well as in the site policy.

Corrections

Material corrections change the page update date and should identify the supporting source. The corrections policy explains the process; a working intake channel remains required before deployment.
